I have a few more photo to share of the journal I made for our visiting Swedish relative and her really, cool reaction to it.
A fun magazine photo of carrots with a clear overlay pocket!
Paint and spray ink on the left and photo copied stamps on the right.
These boots were made for walkin', dancin' or just about any occasion!
A happy accident that occurred when I was cleaning off a stencil by stamping it on a page with a black and white drawing of a flying goose.
Here is where the fun begins, the journal recipient jumped right in and started making this book her own....much to my delight.
She has already started making entries and adding her own artwork.
A trip to the coast and visiting the Tillamook cheese factory are top priorities when you come to Oregon.
She fearlessly uses color and has a great sense of design.
I showed her what you can do with spray ink and a stencil and she went for it!
She has written and produced two plays at the University she attends so needless to say she loves theater. We took her to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. These are her impressions and thoughts about the play along with photos of the stars and her ticket stub!
Turns out she has been keeping journals since she was ten years old....so she is an old hand at this. Very creative and talented young woman.....for me it was so exciting and rewarding to see her input!

Isn't it fun when you can inspire someone who gets your kind of art? This is a gorgeous journal and I can see how much she loves it.
Love the journaling and spreading it around! (Sharing the joy). :)
