Good thing some flowers like cool weather.....

Oregon has been wet and cold so far this spring.....fortunately daffodils don't seem to care.

IMG_0446IMG_0451IMG_0447 Front yard is a bloomin'.......daffodils, speedwell, primroses, a white rhody, and this pretty pink "Spring Bouquet" Vibernum...........

IMG_0450 Got half-a-barrel of lettuce started.........

IMG_0449 And a pot full of my favorite color combo.......

IMG_0452I love yellow mixed with a pinkish or a deep dark blue purple......with a touch of orange thrown in for good measure.

IMG_0442Can't imagine what we'd have if the sun would shine!   Soon enough...it is suppose to get to 60 degrees this week, that will be a nice change.  I'd like to get some radish, spinach and beet seeds planted one of these days.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join me at An Oregon Cottage Tuesday Garden Party.

The daffodils are so cheery this time of year, especially in the grey weather we've been having here as well (Camas, WA). I like the yellow and purple flower combination as well!

My experiences with Oregon, it is wet and cold there most of the time. It is beautiful country and you shared a small part of it today.

We are seeing daffodils up here in Western Washington, too. I'm ready for a long stretch of sunshine, though! Lovely photos!

I love seeing the pops of color. I bet you are wishing for some dry and warm days full of sunshine. I have that purple plant. I bought it last year. I didn't know orange flowers grew on it. I live where it is dry and windy.

Captain Jack is "adorable." Enjoyed seeing all the color posted on your blog. It is pretty gray still here in the midwest. Although we did see the sun out for a couple of days yestereday and today. YEA! Meanwhile, you take care. See you next week, I hope.

Evrything looks so beautiful! I love Daffodils, but they won't grow here, sadly. Love your strawberry potful!!!

Daffodils are easy going plants, they just take whatever weather comes along. Yours are beautiful!
Ours are all gone now and we are waiting on the azaleas.

My daffodils haven't bloomed this year!...maybe it was too cold this winter?
I've visited Oregon once and just loved it.

Have a great day!

My daffodils were bright and beautiful for the one day once we got back home to NC but then rain beat them up pretty badly before I could get a photo. Hopefully when the sun comes out they'll revive. Lovely photos.

It's been pretty grey and rainy up here, but the blossoms are coming along slowly. I love your viburnum!
